![]() I don't like how weapons don't really change your gameplay style (playing as a necromancer for example) and I hate the idea of using an ability to generate mana. Diablo 2 is so far the high point of the series and I can't see them making another Diablo better than it because they want to appeal to a wider audience instead of appealing to the Diablo audience. I don't feel compelled to play it like I do with Diablo 2. Seasons isn't the only way to do these type of games no matter how the die-hards try to say it is. Borderlands, Outriders, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest, Godfall etc. Lots of Arpg's let you just continue building your main char without relying on the restart every new season model. It's basically just the same as D3, which can be played offline (on console). It also feels like I'm getting none of the benefits of it being a always online game. Just something with all the dungeons being so long in D4 makes it feel very not pick up and play to me. ![]() It didn't feel this way in Diablo 3 (and I'm talking about at launch of D3, not the crazy super overpowered fest it's become now) and D2. Feels like you're just doing the same thing over and over again. And it feels like all the dungeons are the same length and that length is pretty long. Basically go talk to person in the overworld, then do a dungeon. It just felt so repetitive doing the campaign.
